Blood Diner(Review)[Twisted Throwback Thursday]

When a movie begins with a disclaimer warning you about the graphic images you are about to see along with a plea to not try this at home, you know you are in for a fun ride. And what a ride it turns out to be. Blood Diner delivers exactly as it says on the tin and you just don't know what outrageous thing will happen next. It definitely falls into the ranks of such movies like Evil Dead and Dead Alive with being a combination of making you laugh and feel disgusted at the same time.

The movie is about two brothers are tasked with completing their uncle's work in resurrecting an ancient goddess known as Sheetar. To do this, they must collect body parts from their unwilling victims. On top of this, they own a diner, and let's just say meat is definitely on the menu boys.

This movie makes no qualms about what it is. You will see heads flying, blood splattered, lot and lots of gruitous nudity, and just plain out insanity on display. You will have to excuse the dialog as it sounds like most of it was dubbed in. The acting isn't the greatest at times either. But you won't mind it when it comes to everything else going on. This is a movie not to be taken seriously, and it knows that, so its not afraid to go to any lengths necessary to get a reaction. The ending scene alone is just zany, like I don't want to spoil it for you, but just to paint a picture for you, the brothers are attempting to resurrect Sheetar as a live band is playing, the band consisting of most of their members dressed up as Hitler for some reason, and there is someone in a horse costume on stage as well. It's one of those things you just have to see to believe.

So yeah, definitely check out Blood Diner, it's on Hulu currently. As a long time fan of horror, I definitely come across some strange selections, and I come to enjoy them, and this is one of those.

Till next time, stay safe and stay scared!! -Tha Thrilla-
