Godspeed On the Devil's Thunder - Cradle of Filth(Review)[Musical Monday]

Godspeed on the Devil's Thunder is my third favorite concept album from Cradle of Filth, with Midian being my first, and Cruelty and the Beast being my second. The album is based on the life of 15th century Baron Gilles De Rais who is best known as companion in arms of Joan of Arc, and later became convicted as a serial child murderer.

Containing thirteen tracks, as well as Doug Bradley returning to provide narrations in between, this album is nothing short than amazing. Some of my favorites are the title track, The Death of Love, Midnight Shadows Crawl to Darken Counsel With Life, and Darkness Incarnate.

For horror fans, lovers of the occult, and those who love Cradle of Filth, I highly recommend listening to this album if you haven't already done so. A very solid piece from their expansive catalog and really don't find much to not like about it.
