House(Review)[Twisted Throwback Thursday]

Another horror movie that I remember watching as a kid, House is a horror movie that is more played for comedy than scares. The movie is about a horror writer who decides he wants to write about something different to avoid getting known as someone who only write horror. Sound familiar?? So he moves into his aunt's house, who had just died, and while there, he discovers he can't escape horror as the house manifests his deepest fears.

The most memorable scenes are the ones with that beasty lady that is impossible to kill, and of course the scenes with the zombie known as Big Ben, who literally is the writer's past coming the haunt him. The film is very fun, and still is able to get laughs out of me as it did when I was younger.

House spawned a few sequels, though I have yet to see House 3 and 4 due to how hard they are to find. The second movie is even sillier than the first and reminded me of a one of those fantasy movies for kids.

Yeah, if you are looking for some light hearted horror, House is right up your alley.

Till next time, stay safe and stay scared!! -Tha Thrilla-
