As mind blowing as the movie is, as it's something you wouldn't believe seeing on the screen, what really propels Tetsuo to the forefront of personally being one of my favorite foreign horrors is the soundtrack behind the movie. Composed by Chu Ishikawa, this soundtrack puts the industrial in industrial music.
As you listen to the different tracks you can see where many industrial bands got their inspiration from his music. From beginning to end, this soundtrack just completely owns. It has that variety between songs that pump you up and songs with that otherworldly weirdness which would become the norm for industrial music in general.
The sad part is this soundtrack is mostly out of print now and very rare to find. With that in mind, I included a way below for you to check out the magnificence for yourself, which I highly recommend doing so.
