The Crow Soundtrack Review[Musical Monday]

It is hard to deny the impact that the soundtrack of The Crow has had as a whole. You will be hard pressed to find a soundtrack that still holds up well. Featuring The Cure, Nine Inch Nails, Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against the Machine, and even Pantera, it all blends to expletive the dark themes of this movie. It speaks of death, resurrection, madness, despair, and ultimately revenge from beyond the grave. Which makes this the perfect horror soundtrack, and even though many might not think of it as such, The Crow does fit well in the horror universe.

Some of the standout tracks are "Burn" by The Cure, "Dead Souls" by Nine Inch Nails(which is a remake of the song by Joy Division), "The Badge" by Pantera, and "After the Flesh" by My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult

I find it hard to believe that no one has heard this soundtrack by now, but if you haven't, definitely give it a listen. You will see the influence it has had on soundtracks as well as bands since its release. Very hard to deny its legacy.

Till next time, stay scared!! -Tha Thrilla-
