The Lost Boys Soundtrack Review[Musical Monday]

Updated: Jun 24, 2020

With the death of Joel Schumacher, I thought it be appropriate to feature the soundtrack of my most favorite film of his. The Lost Boys is the most important vampire film in my life, right below Bram Stoker's Dracula. The soundtrack is part of what made the film as great as it is. It's as 80's as 80's gets, but it is still so great. We all remember two crucial songs in particular from that film that are still in rotation on horror and gothic playlists to this day. Those songs being the crooning "Cry Little Sister" which is The Lost Boys theme, and who can forget the beefed up saxophone player playing "I Still Believe"

Other mentions from the soundtrack are "Lost in the Shadows", "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me", "People are Strange" originally by The Doors, but being covered by The Echo and the Bunnymen, and "Beauty Has Her Way"

Definitely a recommended listen to the point if you don't heard this soundtrack by now, what are you doing with your life??

Till next time, stay safe and stay scared!! -Tha Thrilla-
