US Soundtrack Review[Musical Monday]

I admit when I first viewed US, it was the musical queues that drew me in the most. They evoked the right amount of terror or emotion to feel towards a scene. There are moments of levity so you could have a moment to laugh off your fear....just before the next scare right around the corner. Michael Abel performed very well in his sophomore appearance. There are those director/composer pairings that just work so well you can't see anyone else matching just how well they fit together, and the duo of Jordan Peele and Michael Abel is an example of one of those perfect pairings.

Some of the highlights for me are "Anthem", "Don't Feel Like Myself", "Home Invasion", "Once Upon a Time", and "Pas De Deux". Definitely a good soundtrack to listen to, if you haven't done so yet. In fact, the beginning track, which I will include below, sets the tone of what you are about to listen to. It still gives me goosebumps every time as it's so creepy yet beautiful at the same time, which pretty much describes the soundtrack as a whole.

Till next time, stay safe and stay scared! -Tha Thrilla-
